Top 25 free business courses of all time

Class-Central, an educational portal for finding online courses in all disciplines, has compiled a list of the most rated business courses in the history of MOOC (Massive open online courses).

A total of 872 courses are presented in the „Business and Management“ section of the Class-Central category, which competed with each other for a popularity rating based on the number of participants in each course.

The courses included in the top 25 usually have a regular start period and therefore most of them are open for registration within the next month.

The links in the table of the top 25 lead to the description of the course on the Class-Central website, which allows not only to read the detailed description of the course, but also the feedback of the participants.

All courses presented in the list can be listened to in English absolutely free of charge. Some course providers may charge $ 49 to $ 149 for exams and official certification assignments.

According to Class-Central research, the number of students enrolling in at least one-on-one courses in any field of study increased from 17 million in 2014 to more than 35 million in 2015. Moreover, the number of MOOCs themselves in 2015 increased by 42% from 2,600 titles in 2014 to 4,200 by the beginning of 2016 with more than 550 educational institutions offering them.

Within the framework of the IMBA program from IIB, a foreign module “Change Innovations”

Foreign module “Change Innovations” in Kyiv

In May, students of the International MBA program (IMBA) from the International Business Institute will receive a foreign module “Change Innovations”, which is implemented by one of the best business schools in France – Aix-Marseille Graduate School of Management – IAE. An international team of professors consisting of: Carolina Serrano Archimi (Spain / Switzerland), Robert Weisz (France), Tamara Kondrashova (France). These high-class specialists read their courses in many European educational institutions, have extensive practical experience in the business environment. Listeners can expect an innovative Communication Styles course, which aims to develop key managerial competencies such as effective communication skills in the organization, managing complex psychological conflicts. Traditionally, the material is presented through practical exercises and case studies. The course is taught by Robert Weisz, Professor of Aix-Marseille Graduate School of Management – IAE – Specialist in Organizational Behavior and Organizational Development. During the training, Robert will share with students the author’s model of analysis of the links between processes and styles ComProfiles, will teach many useful management techniques. One of the most memorable will be the course Change Consulting Practice from Carolina Serrano-Archimi, professor of management and organizational behavior, Master of Philosophy. The aim of the course is to develop students‘ ability to simplify the procedures for implementing change in their companies, develop an understanding of the systems approach and focus on specific change management tasks. Students will also take a Transcultural Management course from a professor at Aix-Marseille Graduate School of Management – IAE researcher and consultant in the field of intercultural environment – Tamara Kondrashova. The course is devoted to the problem of choosing the best approaches to management in modern European companies with a multinational team. Teaching on the module will be interactive and very dynamic: role-playing games, modeling, practical exercises, etc .. After completing the May module Internal Consulting Project. Students of the program have already been able to appreciate the high level of teaching of the partner school, having completed training in a field module in France in January 2015. The listeners gained significant experience of teamwork and unforgettable impressions as participants of the international online simulation „NegoSim Challenge“, which took place in the spring as part of the program.
